Government Should Engage Youth In Sport Development - Balogun Egba

The Balogun of Egbaland, High Chief Sikiru Atobatele has stressed the need for the government at federal and state level to move the youth away from social vices through sport development.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to his Ibara Abeokuta residence, the intelligent High Chief expressed dissatisfaction with the level of crime rate among the youth in the country stating that youths could be engaged productively through sports development.

Balogun Egba stated that youth in Nigeria are very productive and intelligent, if given the privilege to explore their God's given talent.

He also spoke on the annual Lisabi Day Festival as a Festival to appreciate the efforts of the past heroes of EgbaLand.

He also described the reign of the Alake of EgbaLand as a blessing to the people, stating that his reign recorded monumental growth across spheres.
